Rachel has taken a circuitous route to her present position as a high school Child Development teacher in Fairfield, CT.

 

Her journey has included growing up in England, receiving a degree in HE from the University of Edinburgh, participating in the founding of a private preschool in Hoboken, NJ, teaching elementary school in NYC, teaching preschool in Fairfield, and now teaching three levels of Child Development at Fairfield Warde High School.

 

She earned an M.Sc in Leadership and Administration. As an FCS department leader, she organizes and teaches PD, mentors new teachers, and is responsible for curriculum writing, aligning assessments, and ensuring that, as educators, we are current and authentic.
