Fermentation
October 29 11AM-1PM with Valerie Bullen
- 60 US dollars$60
- Verona Avenue
Service Description
In this workshop, we will discuss lacto-fermentation, and each will make a jar of lacto-fermented cabbage to go home with. This is different from pickling, which typically uses an acid. Fermented foods can be incorporated as a staple in the diet as pre and probiotics. Come learn all about it! Valerie Bullen was always exploring paths of study in alternative medicine and therapeutics. After working with healer and acupuncturist Rachel Koenig for some years for her health, she discovered the Arborvitae School of Traditional Herbalism, a three-year clinical program. With no initial expectations beyond learning more about plant medicine to use in her life and completing the foundation year, she started the program and graduated in May of 2022. Eir Herbal was founded in the fall of 2022. Valerie sees clients one on one clinically and teaches workshops. You can follow Valerie on Instagram: @eirherbal or Tiktok Eir Herbal
