Ombre Cake - Cake Decorating 101

Service Description

Students will be guided step-by-step on how to assemble and decorate a 3-layer cake, starting with a crumb coat, applying outer frosting to produce an ombre effect, then assembling and working with piping bags to create various piping designs and borders. Cakes and frosting will be premade in advance of the scheduled class. Supplies/tools will be provided. Each student will take home his/her own 6” yellow cake with Swiss meringue buttercream frosting, beautifully decorated for any celebration. Students will be provided with windowed cake boxes to carry their cakes home. Cake serves approximately 6 people.

*To register for any class, payment in full is required at the time of registration. *A full refund will be issued if Gather Culinary cancels your course. *All sales are final. Due to limited seating, prep time, and scheduling that go into creating classes, we do not offer refunds. You are welcome to send someone to attend in your place. Please email us @ hello@gatherculinary.com to let us know who will attend in your place. *We cannot make exceptions to this policy for scheduling conflicts, last-minute illnesses, or no-shows. *Class cancellations due to inclement weather will be made up.
